I wish I’d had this book when I started working at home. I especially liked the chapter on Home Sweet Home Office and advice on how to create a work routine. A good practical advice that has helped me understand how to use my time better.

Leslie is the only book of “how” book you need for 2009! I’ve been in business for over 5 years and still learned something new by reading this easy to read, professionally written book.

I took the job at Home Success Bible by Leslie Truex because one of the things that has put everything into my brain is like taking one (or more) of Jack of All Trades things I do and turn it into a tradable commodity.
There are four parts of the book:
1. Living and working at home
2. Telecommuting
3. Home
4. The opening of running a business helps
appendix is also included.
This was a very readable book. The life and work at home was not very useful for me since I had that experience in my past – Those Were short-term missions, so if I decide to try to make a go at this, so have to revisit that section. It also includes forms (and links) to help someone to make this decision with sufficient information.
In Telecommuting, Leslie gives advice on finding and applying for telecommuting jobs. Once again, you get an idea of what they are good also insists that it is much easier to change a work in progress in a telecommuting job is to go out and find one.
Principal, talks about the variety of upstart Leslie – even from scratch and lists a few business that every woman can have in your arsenal. This is the section that I spent more time weighing the options. Not done that yet.
The final section provides advice on legal issues, marketing, communication, etc. available to check the activity after the decision to start it.

This book covers all – how to make life at work in the home for you and your family, business ideas, money management and very important business plan and marketing plan (two key elements that are often overlooked) . This is the kind of resource I wish I’d had when I was preparing my departure from corporate America (I went in 2003 and never looked back!).
Over the years I have heard say many people who want to work at home and not know where to start. There are a lot of fraud out there and there may be some concerns about making a big transition. In my experience, I found that fear is always minimized through the preparation. The more you know what you’re getting into, unless you fear you live.
This is a practical book that will inspire ideas and give you the confidence to venture alone. Leslie Truex is a professional with a lot of knowledge to share. I will recommend this excellent book now.
